Mustangs, Chevys, Oldsmobile to even the Batmobile ruled this event. The Barrett-Jackson 2009 was bigger then ever. I have never seen so much outstanding vehicles in one place. Even the “Eleanor” from Gone in 60 Seconds was there. Each vehicle had their own distinct uniqueness. Some screamed muscle, others exhuberated classy. I love the Jaguar MKII, my favorite. With so many cars we could not cover all. Enjoy the photos after the jump.

Say it ain’t so JPG Magazine! I’ve been a fan of JPG Magazine for a long time. If you haven’t heard about it, they are shutting down and is up for sale TODAY! The magazine has been an inspiration for me with their photographs in each issue. The readers themselves make up the content. Made by readers by submitting their own photos, the magazine features some of the most amazing photography ever published. Ok, I might be over exaggerating a little but it’s a great magazine for photography.
I’m sadden and yet hopeful whoever buys the company, they will continue the legacy either online, print or even both. So Yahoo, buy them already and use Flickr somehow to display all of the great work. I’ve just heard the site will still be up for a week more! Check them out at jpgmag.com

So many places to go and so little time. From Padres, Homme, The Clarendon, O.A.R., and BarSmith we did not have time to go to all of them! If you know anyone who took photos tell them to send them our way and we’ll post it here.
I ask you this, where were you when 2009 started? More photos are to come, enjoy these for now. Photos after the snap.
