Surly Wench Pub
424 N 4th Ave
Tucson, AZ 85705
Siobhan Clothing’s Elizabeth Albert will be presenting her D.I.Y. Fashion Show at the Surly Wench Pub in Tucson, AZ this Friday, February 6th. The show will feature Albert’s new Spring line, which includes dresses, Valentine’s Day inspired lingerie, and accessories that were influenced by her sense of humor and love for vintage and thrift store finds.
Albert has been a trendsetting designer throughout Arizona with shows including Scottsdale’s Fashion Ball, themed shows with The Scottsdale Contemporary Museum of Art (SMOCA), the Tucson Museum of Art’s First Fridays “Spring in Paris” show, various collaborative events with other local designers, and featured in the Arizona Daily Star as a “green” designer. You can find her designs at local boutiques, Zoe and Bohemia as well as online.
Your $5 admission will go towards Staples and Stitches, a program at Skrappy’s Youth Center dedicated to teaching youth from all backgrounds basic sewing and design skills for free! There will also be several giveaways at the fashion show, including hand painted Siobhan clutches.
Hope to see you there!
Photos after the break, enjoy! (click on image for a larger view)
