LA Fashion Arizona Style at Dirty Pretty
August 2nd, 2009 by nicole | 1 CommentBlow Collection returns to Scottsdale with “LA Fashion Arizona Style”, a tribute to Michael Jackson. Darryl Threatt, owner and designer, was inspired by the pop king’s influential look and combines this individuality with his urban couture line.
It was reminiscent of the 80’s retro era: Plastic neon sunglasses, leggings, suspenders, velcro shoes, and distressed denim – remnants of a bygone decade marked by decadence and hedonism. Accented with black clothing accompanying white shoes and red converse, Threatt incorporated splashes of color as a catalyst to alter times of economic distress to a decade when extravagance and self indulgence ruled.
