Contribute to The Soop!

Good content is hard to find. There are several good writers and editors out there who have volunteered their time and effort to make The Soop possible. They wrote and edited these articles, columns, reviews and interviews with no compensation. This publication wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for their help.

Although we can’t guarantee to publish all submissions that we receive, we try to ensure the best of them do. We encourage and showcase the new voices of writers. To this end, contributions from new writers are particularly welcomed and encouraged.

The Soop is a site that covers art, culture, fashion, lifestyle, music and trends. We are not trying to take over any news sites that are out there. More to give a voice to the local arts, the cool, the hip, the trendsetters, movers and shakers, but most of all to help grow the community.

You’re probably wondering what type of subjects we are looking for.

  • You must include a short description about yourself at the bottom of the article. This can be serious or silly; it’s just nice to know about who’s writing, and if you can get a chuckle or a wry comment out of it, more the better. • You can use a pseudonym or nickname if you prefer but please let us know what name you wish the article to be published under.
