DJ Z-Trip at PinkyRing and All-Star Weekend at Fuse

What a night! DJ Z-Trip killed it! Not to mention Tricky T and DJ Fashen had the crowd rolling in music ecstasy! (no pun intended, maybe) I have never seen the upstairs at Bar Smith so packed. It was wall-to-wall people crammed like a bunch of sardines.

Talking with some of the folks there, they told me DJ Z-Trip is a local Arizonan. Makes me proud to know such great talent was from my hometown. Z-Trip is considered by many the founder of the mash-up movement. He’s known as a master remixer. Check his remix of “I Want You Back” by the Jackson 5’s.

If you ever been to Bar Smith you know the second floor is where you want to be. Last night it was apparent. There was a line from the staircase to the entrance door, just to go up! Glad I came early. Once you came downstairs, you’re not going back up.
