I was driving to the show and it looked like there was a good size crowd standing outside of the gallery show. Entering the gallery you were met by the artist Hendrix painting on a live canvas. A nude body to be exact. The patterns were intricate and well thought out. Each line seemed to merge with the human body’s contours.
The art pieces being shown were dramatic, colorful and pop artsy. There was one outside that stood out for me. It was an Egyptian piece that was done on a large canvas. The colors were deep in saturation and the geometric shapes of it seemed to blend nicely. Photos from the event after the break.
