Save the Family, Spread the Word

November 3rd, 2008 by Missi | No Comments »

Save the Family Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer based organization dedicated to helping homeless families by breaking the negative cycles of poverty, homelessness, and abuse. And they need your help!

Our goal is to provide 18 children (ages 3-17) and 12 adults a nutritious dinner on Monday, November 10th and to hopefully raise enough donations to provide 20 healthy sack snacks for 20 children (ages 3-9) that same afternoon. Food donations are needed (see the list below) this week.

To schedule a complimentary (this means FREE!) pick-up THIS week email Missi Howard-Green (that’s ME!) at MissiGreen@gmail.com.

If you are unable to donate items or hands at this time, you can help by forwarding this storyl to everyone in your address book.

“The fish only knows that it lives in the water, after it is already on the river bank. Without our awareness of another world out there, it would never occur to us to change.” - Unknown
