I’ve been following these two artists for over a year now. The first time I heard their song, “Slave”, I knew they were going to be big. With their second music video, “Gravity“, Silver Medallion collaborated with photographer, Giulio Sciorio for the video.
Shot in and around downtown Phoenix, using available light and features the memorable spaces that dot the Phoenician landscape, including the months’ old light rail system, Civic Space Park, Phoenix Art Museum and the Clarendon Hotel.
Silver Medallion breaks new ground both in musical style and their message. They describe their genre as “Hero Pop”, but deliver more than typical electronic pop group, speaking to the reality today’s youth culture faces – broken dreams, economic collapse and the role of technology on human relationships.
