OPENING NIGHT: FRIDAY SEPT. 26th Starting at 6PM: Phoenix Art Museum is host of a Friday night cocktail reception celebrating our downtown and its thriving arts scene. Guests will be invited to experience and learn more in a spirited environment that will serve as a kick-off to the arts season. The evening will be highlighted by a number of live performances, multi-media exhibits and a progressive tasting menu prepared by Chefs from iconic downtown restaurants. There’s never been a party quite like this.

Downtown is the heart of the Valley’s creative community, the hotbed of Phoenix culture, art, history,music, theater and sports. Each of singular value, presented as a whole conveys an intricately layered urban lifestyle. Urban Affair, the Valley’s premier urban living event, delivers a celebration of this activity and energy by bringing together an exhibition of people, businesses, organizations, and institutions that make downtown special.

The opening night celebration takes place at the Phoenix Art Museum. That includes a special invitation to ‘Explore Your Core’ during the following weeklong Affair, which includes events, activities and other downtown promotions.

Design Community – architecture and amenities that help define our physical surroundings. Food and Wine – iconic downtown restaurants and chefs serving a progressive tasting menu throughout the evening. Proceeds will benefit the Downtown Phoenix Public Market, downtown’s community gathering place funded by the non-profit Community Food Connections.
