“They sound like Danzig,” a friend of mine said. The singer’s voice is the reincarnation of Glen Danzig himself I thought. They call themselves Zombeast. A horror punk band with high energy, dark and brooding songs that awakens your darker side that has been waiting to come out. Band members consists of Mario-Vocals, J Zombie-Guitar, Kris-Bass and Beau-Drums. Here is a snip it from their Myspace profile:
“Zombeast started in August of 2005 by 4 guys who were raised on nothing but Horror and everything Danzig. With each member looking for an artistic way to express their creativity and frustration Zombeast was born. After one month of practice Zombeast had a full set and was booking shows all over Arizona. In the end of August/Early September Zombeast hit the studio for the first time to record 4 songs.”
This is a great band live and in studio. Songs are great to sing along while driving on the road. They are catchy and easily remembered. Just be careful not to head bang to hard you head bangers out there. Accidents do happen when people see you having too much fun!
